“Volunteerism: The Struggle is Real!”
Leadership Development Training

Shifting attitudes and demographics have contributed to a decline in the number of people willing to support congregations by freely volunteering their time and talent. The 20th century model of a largely volunteer workforce is no longer a viable choice for many non-profit organizations including faith communities. We’ll take some time to examine changing demographic trends and what they tell us about who volunteers and why, and look at new ways of recruiting, retaining and appreciating the folks who power our congregations in so many ways. The morning will include time for group conversations about what IS working – please come and share your successes!
